Can I use this service?
If you would like to use this service you will need to ask your prescribing doctor to contact our pharmacy to organise this for you.
The first month is a probationary period during which we determine your suitability to continue with the program.
We have a limit of 20 OST patients at any one time.
You are most likely to benefit from the opiate substitution program at our pharmacy if you:
- Have been stable on methadone or buprenorphine for at least three months.
- Have regular contact with your doctor and case manager
- Have had no history of problems in the past six months when collecting your dose (including unacceptable behaviour, diversion of methadone doses or a worsening of your clinical condition)
- Are willing to receive your dose at the pharmacy and follow our Pharmacy’s conditions of supply (see below).

Fees
The weekly dispensing fee for suboxone or methadone is $6
