You may be eligible for the PBS Safety Net if you reach the threshold within 12 months (1 January – 31 December). You can combine the number of prescriptions you receive with members of your family, including your spouse and dependent children.
This will entitle you to receive funded medicines without paying the standard co-payment, after the general or concession threshold is reached. The annual threshold is determined by the Australian Government and changes annually.
